Warranty and Repair Policy

Manufactures' Limitied Warranty

MyCardReader warrants that all of its products are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of30 days from date of shipment. MyCardReader's obligations under this warranty are limited to replacing or repairing, at its option, at its factory or facility, any of the products which shall within the applicable period after shipment be returned to MyCardReader‘s facility, transportation charges prepaid, and which are after examination disclosed to the satisfaction of MyCardReader to be thus defective. This warranty shall not apply to any such equipment which shall have been repaired or altered except by MyCardReader or which shall have been subjected to misuse, negligence, or accident.

In no case shall MyCardReader's liability exceed the purchase price. The aforementioned provisions do not extend the original warranty period of any product which either been repaired or replaced by MyCardReader. The user is solely responsible for determining if the product is usable in his or her application.

Out of Warranty Repair

MyCardReader provides out of warranty repair service on a cost plus labor basis. Minimum charges will apply for working or non-working hardware returned for service.  Contact MyCardReader Support Services at sales@MyCardReader.com for estimated pricing on Repair and Calibration Service. Before returning any hardware for service, please contact MyCardReader support for a Service Order (S.O.) number and shipping instructions. The customer is responsible for all shipping expenses.

After we test and evaluate the hardware, the customer will be notified of the services performed, in a Service Report sent via email. This report will include final repair and/or calibration costs and will request a method of payment. MyCardReader accepts the following methods of payment: Western Union, Money Gram and T/T. The product will not be returned to the customer until a method of payment is provided.

All repairs completed by MyCardReader are warranted for a period of (30) days from date of shipment. This warranty applies only to those goods which were found to be defective and repaired; it does not apply to products in which no defect was found. Warranty covers normal product use outlined in MyCardReader's (30) days Manufactures' Warranty.

Obsolete Product Repair

MyCardReader will continue to repair obsolete products as long as a qualified support technician is available to perform the repair and replacement component parts and test stands are commercially available.

NOTE: All products must be returned to the MyCardReader Product Division within thirty (30) calendar days from the Service Order (S.O.) issue date. If products are not received within the stated thirty (30) calendar-day period, the service order number is invalid and will be canceled. The customer must obtain a new service order number for any canceled service order.

When returning hardware for service, the product must be packaged appropriately for safe shipment and sent prepaid. Use of the original packaging is recommended. It is also recommended that returned products be insured or sent by a method that provides package tracking. Responsibility for loss/damage does not transfer to MyCardReader until the returned product is received by MyCardReader or an MyCardReader authorized representative.
